This little island packs a punch, whether you’re into tasting their cool-climate wines, ciders, whiskies or Bruny Island beers, savouring their seafoods and oysters plucked straight out of the Channel, berries, chocolate, honey or cheese, or even enjoying a wallaby hamburger you’ll find something to excite your tastebuds! Ensuring you’re not just visiting this region but truly experiencing it we cruise Adventure Bay, discovering the rugged coastline, remote islands, beaches and bays, towering cliffs and deep sea caves all while keeping a lookout for the unique wildlife Tasmania is so famous for!

Set in a rustic barn dubbed “The Apple Shed” is the home to Willie Smith Cider. Come see why Tasmania earned the name “the Apple Isle” and sample some of the freshest ciders in this rich state. Organically produced in officially the cleanest air in the world these ciders are an experience not to be missed. Franks Cider. It takes time to prepare great produce and Frank’s have had over 100 years. Frank was the third generation of the Clark Family to farm at Woodside, established in 1836 by John Clark, the area’s first white settler.

Some of Franks trees, from the oldest heritage orchards in Australia, are over 160 years old and ripen later than any others in the Huon Valley. Tasmania’s cool climate and long-seasons ripening fruit on the tree are what creates the taste.

When views are as stunning as those looking out over Peppermint Bay you’re hard pressed to produce food good enough to match it but Peppermint Bay Restaurant has been able to do that and so much more! With an ever changing menu to suit the seasonal produce from their gardens and surrounds your taste buds will be spoilt from the moment you sit down!

The Woodbridge Secluded Luxury Hideaway. These studio cabins are some of the most intimate and thoughtfully designed holiday retreats in Tasmania. Each cabin uses salvaged timber of rare Tasmanian species and is decorated with unique art from local artists, creating a warm ambience.

Bathrooms have a heated slate floor and double shower, as well as your own double spa, with windows opening directly onto the best view in Tassie.

Bruny Island Cruises is an award-winning 3 Hour Wilderness Cruise exploring the rugged coastline of Bruny Island in southern Tasmania.  

Cruise alongside some of Australia's highest sea cliffs, beneath towering crags and drift up close to listen to the awesome 'Breathing Rock'. Enter deep sea caves, pass through the narrow gap between the coast and 'The Monument' and feel the power of nature at the point where the Tasman Sea meets the might of the Southern Ocean.

Join in the search for the abundant coastal wildlife such as seals, dolphins, migrating whales and sea birds. The highly trained interpretive guides love what they do - they work hard to ensure that the experience is fun, enjoyable, entertaining and informative.

The custom-built yellow boats are ideal for viewing the spectacular coastline and wildlife of Bruny Island. Each vessel holds a maximum of 43 guests. Covered open-air tiered seating means an excellent all-round view and connection with the environment. Bruny Island Premium Wines Bar and Grill where we dine in a relaxed atmosphere while overlooking the vineyard and truly experience the local cuisine with an extensive menu specializing in Bruny Island produce, while drinking Bruny Island wine and ciders made on site. Try the Woolley Jumper Burger for a delicious twist on an old favourite!

Bruny Island Escsapes Lodge . Each room features a private deck with incredible views of the D'Entrecasteaux channel and satellite island. Sitting on the hill directly behind the famous Hotel Bruny. The rooms are fitted out with a wonderfully designed day bed in a bay window for you to capture the true beauty of the view and some of the best sunsets you will experience!

Sample cheeses with a truly Tasmanian character at Bruny Island Cheese Co. Inspired by their travels and trainings throughout Europe the cheesemakers set out to produce a cheese that they would love to eat but remained true to the unique flavours of this part of the world. Pair this with the open fermented Bruny Island Beers, and you truly do get immersed into what this little island off the only island state of Australia has to give.

Grandvewe Sheep Cheesery. When a cheesery is so good at producing their own sheep cheese that they decide to become the first in the world to produce vodka and gin from the sheep whey you know you’re in for a treat! Overlooking the paddocks the happy sheep are feasting in we watch the magic of the cheese factory and ageing room. Be part of history in the making!

Pagan Cider is proud to be a little different and push the boundaries of producing cider rather than be restrained by the past. Try the true cider experience as they only use real, whole fruit in their ciders from 4th generation orchards in the stunning Huon Valley. Sample their staple apple, pear or cherry cider, or splash out and taste their seasonal small batch ciders such as blueberry, strawberry, quince or even mead cider and you’ll never look at the humble apple the same way again.

We finish our tour in Hobart and this is the perfect place to set off on your next adventure! Nestled in the foothills of Mt Wellington, Hobart is a hub of activity. It houses some of the best chefs in the world, turning the unique Tasmanian produce into something spectacular for your plate. Explore the city, visit MONA or Salamanca Market or even go further afield and visit Port Arthur, Australia’s most intact and evocative convict site.

This is an all inclusive tour and includes the following:
